Well the way I see it, with a 4 year 100% free replacement warranty and another 4 year pro-rated warranty (8 years total), even if it does go bad, I should not have to pay for another one for quite some time.

ya but how many times in those 8 years are you gonna be stranded on the road with a bad battery much less having to exchange and replace?

Hopefully 0, but who knows. Until it proves to me that I can not trust it, I am going hold on to it. Besides, nothing is perfect, no guarantee that any battery will prevent me from being stranded, if that were the case I would have bought that one. After several recommendations, reading many customer reviews, taking into consideration the warranty, not to mention the batteries specs, I made my decision; only time will tell if it was the correct one.

I just bought an Interstate (850 CCA)at Sam's Club for about $85. I looked at the Diehards but they were crazy expensive. The OEM was only a 600 or 650 CCA so I figure I should be good for a few years. On my old truck ('99 F150) the OEM was in it until I sold it with about 130K on it. It was going bad though. Told the guy that bought it to make that his first purchase.

I've got 120k on my '05 Screw, original MC battery, Southern NJ. When I went for the tranny flush they checked it and said I was at 2% cranking power. I figured I can't complain about getting all that time out of the OEM, but I'm looking at the Duralast Gold from AutoZone.
