Yes, a sad day - I had to do that myself once. Don't worry, you'll get your truck back some day. One day you'll one of your kids will turn 16 and they will propose that they drive your minivan and you can go out an buy any vehicle you want for yourself.

04 truck trade in on a new van?

Been a lot cheaper to just keep the truck, buy a 15 year old Thunderbird / etc and drive it instead. My 95 with 4.6 I found last year just a tick over 50K miles gets 30 mpg on the highway cruising 65, 25 running errands, etc.

Wife has an '09 caravan and I will be keeping my truck for awhile here. The mini van is nice for family trips though

Nice Flex... I'm in the process of selling my wifes 07 Mustang GT, so we can pick one of the Flex's up over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The good thing is.. I get to keep my Mustang and my Truck, not to mention we still have a Focus for the beater

Hows the gas mileage with the ecoboost? Was it worth the extra $5K? I planned on getting a limited, but didn't plan on getting ecoboost.

I can't imagine you're saving a ton of money on fuel savings/repairs when you are just taking on monthly payments instead of repair bills. To each his own though.
Exactly how I see it. I don't understand where the savings are coming from, unless the payments are less then the cost of fuel/maintenance to make the 4 hour trip 3 times a week in the F150.

He probably lost his ***** to his wife a long time ago if he was willing to accept the idea of driving a minivan, much less purchasing the hideous thing.
