RIP Big Moosie

Haven't been on here much since I bought my truck.....had a bad accident yesterday but thankfully my F150 "Big Moosie" kept me save. I wish I could say the same for my truck. I was struck (t-boned) on my driver side by an uninsured Mexican woman (could speak little to no English). She ran a stop sign and was probably going at least 40 mph. She was in a early 90's model Jeep Grand Cherokee but still managed to put my F150 on it's side. Might have flipped more and put me in a creek bed had my rear end not struck a telephone pole. Just wanted to post a few pictures of the accident. I'm a little sore today but grateful I was able to walk away from it. I had just washed the truck and left autozone with some stuff to clean the wheels. I was in my neighborhood less than 30 seconds from my home. Guess I'm just lucky I wasn't in my old Jeep Wrangler........

Pretty sure the car was not in the driver's name. Hopefully, although it's not likely, I can file a suit against the owner. I'm pretty sure I'll get nothing out of the driver. If I could just recoup what I paid for it......that's probably not likely either.

Loved that truck. It had everything I was looking for and only got to enjoy it for about 2 months =(

Glad you're ok. It will all be ok. Just keep pulling for AZ and the other states pulling legislation to end this. Call me crazy, I don't think even if she could have read the "stop" sign, I don't think she would have stopped.

Glad you're ok but sad about the truck. Do you have uninsured motorist coverage?
