Sometime back now. I haven't been very active on the forums lately. And have yet to post a thread about the changes. I work at a body shop and had them based and cleared. My roommate is our painter and we are thinking of redoing them flat black soon. But still undecided.

finally replaced a bad tire that was causing one hell of a shimmy in the steering wheel..next to check the rotors that are hopefully the cause of the vibration under braking...

1. replaced the idler pulley-got rid of that damn whining noise on cold start
2. reset the tire size and set the gryphon to tow
3. washed it up
4. took it for a 30 mile run
5. then did the TRUCK Happy Dance

all in all a great morning

anyone know what the rattling or shifting sound is in the back of our trucks that sounds like its coming from the headliner? it does it on bumps you kinda hear a scratching sort of rubbing sound. id think its pretty common, my 07 lariat, and my dads 05 stx both do it. any ideas?

My 07 does that, as well as my Dads 06 Lariat. Except it sounds like it's coming from the pillar that the driver seat belt is connected to(on both trucks). I'm also curious of the problem.

Pulled the 3rd brake light off and replaced the cargo bulbs with led's. Looks pretty good.
