Nothing crazy really. Infinity Components front and rear, 600 watt 5ch Alpine amp, and a kicker 10" in a box from that rodneyt74 on eBay. Used a JVC head unit from my previous truck only cause my daughter likes the alternating colors on the buttons and display. Lol.

I had no idea the investment required for dynamat/ hushmat type stuff. So i'll go back and install that later. This truck is so dirty down deep that I'm gonna have to take the interior out to wipe it down. One of the vents in the rear wall is stuck open so every crevice of the truck has a thick layer of dirt. It's bad. I'll put in the dampening material then.

System sounds really good. I understand now why people are using the sound processors. The Supercrew cab has different levels of sound at each seat. Kinda weird.

So my wife finally took the truck up to the line-x dealership to get the bed sprayed. Turned out awesome!

Now on to the bad news.... on her way up there she encountered a rock to the windshield.... Just my luck, but my insurance is going to cover it

I'll try to get her to send me some pictures of it. She is supposed to get the undercover installed this weekend or next??

Exclamation Just got back from Ford shop

1. Front right hub, 4X$ work, bearing, actuator. 800$
2. Cam phasers, both. 1200$.
3. New spark plugs. 500$. Dealer broke all of them off.

Drove it home. Nice smooth quiet running pickup again!

Installed the Edge Evolution today! What a big changed with just the towing mode. Only bad thing is that I got a whole tank of 87 Octane. Gotta wait till i get 91+ to run extreme. Can't wait to get the K&N Air filter in either!

Hit a bump yesterday and took out my passenger fog light so I took the opportunity to upgrade both bulbs to 9145s...I live in the sticks and it gets foggy, so the extra lil bit of light will be greatly appreciated this fall.

Since I didn't post yesterday I will post what I did yesterday today. My wife and daughter went to my in-laws for the weekend so I got to have lots of quality garage time until 6ish, then I got lots of bar time with friends for a buddys birthday.

My 04 got new brakes in the front, dimpled/slotted rotors with semi-metallic pads from http://brakeperformance.com/brake-ro....php?did=11281. WOW!! What a difference from the warped stockers that I had for the last 500 or so miles. I will be doing the rears in the spring.

My 94 just got re-registered on Thursday, so it is now back on the road for the first time in 3 years. I put in a new battery, ripped off the rest of the exhaust that was starting to fall off.

All in all a good weekend, although kinda sucked having to put gas in both trucks. $120 in the 94 and $105 in the 04, bright side was the FREE BEER at the bar!!

Did my fronts last weekend, which pads did you get standard or premium. I ask because I got the free standard semi's and now I'm getting this humming and chattering sound. After a call to them it seems the premiums would be equal to the stocks. Just curious if your having the same results, thanks.

I got the premiums. I was just going to get the standard pads since they were free and then buy Wagner TQ's. But after talking with 2 different people at brakeperformance I got the premiums, both of the people I talked to said that there would be very little dust and they would also be a long lasting pad. Hopefully they are right. If not I will be getting the Wagners.

I have no chatter or humming from mine, but I have only put about 60-70 miles on so far.

One possible thing that I can think of that could be causing the strange sounds. Did you use any caliper grease on the back of the pads, the slides, and the other metal to metal contact points? Just a thought.

I put some caliper lube on the slides. I'm going to see if there's any rebates on the Wagner's locally and try that. Thanks for reply.
