I traded it!

Does this mean I need to change my user ID?

Swapped my 1999 XLT 4.6 2WD for a 2006 Lariat 5.4 4WD. Now I've got to detail it and fix all the little things that are wrong with it. So many new opportunities to spend money!

@1999RedXLT Grats! Enjoy the new truck!

I bought some Duplicolour DSG Spray so that I can (finally) get my PTM mirror caps on.

Got my engine almost ready to go back in the truck, can't wait to hear it run again. It's been more than a month getting the machine work done and gathering the parts to rebuild it.

looks good ! i washed mine the other night, used adams wash, and adams vrt, and it looks fantastic. also repainted my catback in bbq/stove 1200 degree paint, hopefully that wont come off or anything. also shot some more random black places up in my wheelwells in the bed so they arent blue. been doing fine.

Hell yes! Congrats! Big big difference between your old one and new one I bet. I was amazed and I went from an 04 extended XLT to a 07 Supercrew Lariat. Ext/Int colors?

Today I decided to finally get around to doing a well overdue (10K miles on Mobil1 and a FL820S) oil change. After reading this :https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...is-report.html I decided to go back with Motorcraft. 7 qts. of 5W20 and a filter were under $30 at Walmart. Also picked up a Motorcraft fuel filter and got it swapped in. I can't believe I have been paying the dealer to do my fuel filters! Anyway, overall a good day!

Did rotors/pads all the way around. Also changed the stock struts/springs over to a monroe quick strut.

Rides like a brand new truck.

Yesterday: finally installed my 09 fender and tail gate badges, PHILIPS Xtreme Power headlight bulbs, and interior cleaning and vacuum and put in my new Weathertech Digital Fit liners.

This morning my dB by Corsa cat back came. I installed it and went for a test drive. A+ quality and sound(no drone).

And after I finish cutting grass, exterior wash and I'll post some pics tonight.

you can do better, gtx isnt that great, nor is fram.

cleaned my undercarriage even more than i did before to get left over oregon inlet beach sand out of there. even did my redneck drag a sprinkler under the truck trick. then washed it up real good, vacuumed everything, scrubbed my weathertechs, and changed my oil filter in hopes of fixing some start up chatter after sitting for more than 24 hours

not a firm believer in the whole lemme buy the most expensive synthetic oil out there.. not a believer of the whole 3 or 5k change either (this change came at about 9k). truck has 155k on it, not a single prob.. same way wit my ol chevy over 250k. use it, don't abuse it

im not saying buy synthetic, just a better conventional oil and better filter.

i have heard that 3k changes are rediculous, i have guys that test their oil and say that it doesent break down till 40k. i could never do it, but thats what ive heard
