collin, I hate to burst your bubble, but it was much more than a day job.

I took out my DA for the bumpers and the rocker panels. 80 grit on the bumpers until they turned a bronze color, and 180 grit on the rockers until they looked good and scuffed up after a wipe down with some M.E.K.

I used black epoxy primer on both surfaces just so that the EZ Liner would have something REALLY good to grab onto.

All in all, this took me 3 days to do. I told myself that I was going to do it like a pro and I did. I was careful, took my time, and payed VERY close attention to what I did. (DA's aren't very easy on the paint if you know what I mean...)

Anyways, I was gonna do a write up some day of everything I did. Basically what the pros do at the line-x places and such, but I just wanted to do it myself. Not to mention the quotes that I got up here in Alaska ranged from $900 all the way up to $1500!!!

Painted the cowling and wiper arms. Also did the brake booster adjustment for a stiffer brake pedal. Next thing is to paint the faded fender flares and then talk someone into waxing it.

This morning I programmed my truck with the free Edge Evolution I acquired. Wow, a bigger difference than I expected. Can't wait to move to extreme!

Well the brake booster adjustment went to far. Going to have to back it off some tomorrow. If you guys havent done this and you have soft brakes I highly recommend it.

Had to perform emergency alternator replacement surgery in front of an autoparts store while on a road trip Saturday.

It went out quick with no warning. Can't complain I guess considering the truck has 145k miles on it.
