Today, I took the shop-vac out and vacuumed the bed rug till there was no more dust, saw dust or wood chips in it. Then, I took the wheels off, one at a time, and got under it with a spray bottle of Simple Green, some brushes and the hose. When each wheel well and section of frame was done, I sprayed it with tire shine to make it look shiny and new!

I also checked the oil level in the rear. About 5 weeks ago, I put a Trac-lock differential in it. Oil level was just right, rear is working like it should!

Tomorrow, it gets a good bath and the interior cleaned.

Installed e-fans and the Gatorback belt that has been hanging on my wall for a couple of years. It is so easy to change, with the fan out of the way.

Also, I borrowed one of those inspection cameras from a friend and was able to see where my round finger screwdriver thing ended up, after it fell down a hole in the engine compartment by the battery. It was rattling around like crazy in there. I was able to steer a magnet to it and get it out. Never would have happened, if I couldn't have seen it with the probe camera. Those things are pretty cool. Might have to buy me one.

I bought a Ford steering wheel cover, as the weather down here is beginning to get sticky and the wheel is much more easily gripped and turned now.

Also bought Meguir's Scratch X 2.0 and worked it down both sides of the bed where rose bushes have scratched her over the years. Intensive interior cleaning is coming as soon as I can go outside without turning into a soupy puddle.

Dropped my tranny pan, changed my filter, added a new ford pan w/ drain plug, replaced my tranny pan gasket w/a new one and buttoned it all up w/ refill. I have to say @ 40k miles, the pan was dirty and it was time.

Spark Plugs, Coil Boots, Transmission Filter, Oil Change.

150K first time the tranny pan had been off and it looked almost new, the truck looks in great shape for a 150k truck I can still read all the factory stickers on the frame, axle, etc no oil leaks, wow.

Finished the clean up. Washed, waxed, scrubbed windows, floors, mats, 303'd the tonneau, QD'd to remove wax dust, washed the floor mats and seat towels (yes, I'm one of those who keep towels on the seats).

My truck looks so good, I can hardly stand it!

Now, it's dark and time for

Went to the archery range before work to get in a little practice. Ever notice how a combound bow fits perfectly in the little pocket that is made when you flip the rear seats up...

Went to work last night at 9pm, got off at 10am this morning, rotated my tires, installed my new brakes and rotors from Brake Performance and finished just in time before the heat wave hit hard.
