Official what did you do to your truck today thread.
just been driving it. got my driving lights behind the grille wired up and working. gonna try to solder my third brake light wire at some point and run the coax for my cb ant sometime.
thats a nice dingy there buddy.
went through a 2 hour fiasco with sears. all i needed done was a valve stem replaced. they took 1.5 hours, when they said 45 to 60 minutes. then they put a chrome one on, not just the sleeve over the black one, when my old one was black and my other 3 are black, then went back and got that fixed. no more leaking right front tire.

changed my fuel filter today. so while i was under their i decided to check out my tranny ( just dropped the pan and filter). took a glance over at my right front wheel and see grease everywhere, my heart sank. just as i though my cv boot has a small tear in it. YAY!! so im looking at some replacements today.
took my headlamps out repositioned my HIDs and aligned them 4 inches below the original line that sat at level height with the truck, I must say I should of done this sooner, now I light up everybodies bumper and NOT the rear view mirror, at my sacrifice of seen less down the road but something I'll have to get used to till the ballast gives up on me then I can upgrade to retrofitted projectors in '08 mark Lt heads!!
Scrapped and brushed ice and snow off it this morning, topped off the tank with twenty dollars of gasoline. Armoralled the dash, cleaned the leather seats w/leather cleaner-condtioner and cleaned the interior side of the windows.
been super busy the last 2 days. yesterday i got the silverstar h3s put in my hella 500ffs, and i took half my bed cover off, to get the bed rail cap off, mounted my stake hole mount with the coax, and routed it inside the cab. also had to cut the cap itself to make it fit through of course. this is that:

then today i took it to my friends lift and painted my exhaust with 500 degree low gloss engine enamel cause normal paint kept burning off. then i did a serpintine belt, and then finished routing the coax. it runs under the passenger kick pannels, up behind the glove box, then through the center to the cb. havent tuned it yet but i plan on it. it runs along side other wires so im hoping that wont mess it up. i still need to extend my ground wire and ground the cb itself better too.
i go back to school on monday, class starts tuesday. over this 1 month break ive gottan a bed cover, made a behind the grille light setup and wired it, got my cb antenna wired up, did a serp belt, painted my exhaust, gotten dents fixed in the roof of it, fixed my 3rd brake light, added silverstar back up light bulbs, and gotten a leaking valve stem replaced. i also got the upper control arm bushings done in my mustang along with replacing 4 of the rusted up lug nuts on it. now i gotta wash both cars, get the cb tuned in the truck, and head back to school.

Read the sticky on the mushy brake peddle did that fix worked out great. Bought beer on the way home. Having a few right now going to catch some sleep and will be plowing snow by 2am. Wife's parents are coming over tomorrow for a late Christmas could'nt have planed the snow any better might have to miss out.
I have been wiring up my amp and sub and making a box. It will go in tomorrow, a seat lift and carpet for the box will follow. I also got a CEL so plugs and wires will also most likely go on tomorrow. I will post some pics up of the box and stuff.
Finished my version of the gotts mod cleaned my tb and my mass air. fixed my squishy break problem still needs to a just it a little more and bleed my brake lines again. Lost one of my tips to my exhaust and ran it over 30 bucks down the drain so i took off the other tip so it dose not happen again. I will have the truck to my buddy's house on thursday to get it in the garage and up on the lift to change my fuel filter and weld up the rest of my exhaust. O and i painted my custom break and gas peddle and bought my paint for my intake.
