Official what did you do to your truck today thread.
They came to me with a chrome finish. I sanded the chrome. Then used a bonding primer and painted them body color with base and clear.
After the paint dried, I simply peeled and stuck. Fit great too, and look almost OEM to me.
Much easier than removing the mirrors, masking and painting the mirror cover itself.
No mine are the normal Lariat mirrors. I bought the caps on EBay. They use 3m tape and simply stick on top of the mirror.

Removed my OEM lower grill assembly, did some custom paint work to it and reinstalled it.
Now it actually looks like part of the upper grill and complements the front of the truck instead of hiding behind the bumper.

or... in the last month....
SIDO exhaust.... from the back (This photo didn't work out on the web.) long 3" SS tips:

From below, 3" Cherry Bomb with a 3" Y pipe and dual 2.5" out.... sounds nice outside ... drones terrible inside... going to have to make some changes.

Naked Bumper - Stripped and acetoned:

Primed bumper... damn near a match!

Lowered it two inches all around. Thanks TBear for the advice.... all worked out well. It drives and rides absolutely great!

Heard that! These trucks like to be fed often.LOL
I received and installed the Ruxen Ford G.A.P. Accent panel to my lower grill opening.
Subtle little detail but I like it. Installed one on my Dads '04 too. Took all of 5 minutes total to install both panels. Very Easy!
Thanks to Jarod Kuebler at Ruxen Ford for getting them to me quick!

Washed and waxed my truck this morning. Had it next to my brother's 06 black explorer in the garage (same paint code) and it is a world of a difference!
