Today I installed a Clarion CX609 double Din head unit with Sirius radio and bluetooth for my phone and Ipod along with 4 new drop in speakers for the doors. A Call comes in, the stereo fades to ring, phone number is displayed on the stereo, hands free talking!. Now my hands are free to drink coffee and eat...oh yeah, and drive!!

Today I just washed it, but yesterday I had the windows tinted, and I installed a SportLiner (BedRug) on Thursday.

The tint looks OK, but I wish I had gotten the 15%. I thought 15% might be too dark, espcially in MN, where the legal limit is 50%. I wanted to do 20%, but the shop that did it didn't carry it, so I went with the 30%. I had hoped to match the rear windows, but it looks a bit light with the 30%.

(Pics in the white trucks thread.)

just got back from my vacation. drove it 4 hours to obx, drove it around the whole week, up and down route 12 drive on beach twice and up oregon inlet a little ways, got back today hosed off the weathertechs, power washed underneath, let a sprinkler run under there in multiple places, lightly hosed out the bay and the door jams.

sometime soon its getting washed, cleaner waxed with a buffer to work on some swirl marks and then waxed up real good. it did great at the beach, i couldnt be happier.

working next 3 days.then i have 2 days off before i go get my mustang. in those 2 days i plan on washing it, doing cleaner wax with a buffer to work on swirl mark take down, then using tech wax or so, and cleaning the rest of it up. i think i might invest in a high speed.

Oh man, what didn't I do to my truck today....

Changed the oil
Front pads and rotors
Rear pads and rotors
Adjusted the parking brake
Changed the drive belt
Serviced the rear diff
Changed all four shocks (Monroe Gas Magnums)
Replaced the anti-sway bar bolts
And while I had all four wheels off, I rotated the tires.

Little over $500 in parts....
