Stolen skid plate? I'm sorry, but that's funny. Not for you of course, but who the hell steals a stock skid plate?

Maybe the thief was going to make a baked potato or something... You're supposed to wrap up the potato, guys...

What in the h88l is this world coming too with people stealing other peoples skid plates

But really that sucks, I'd be pissed myself.

Like the others have said those are some good places to start looking for one.

yeah I was shocked!!! I can't believe someone would take the risk of going to jail for a skid plate. It was a very well lit parking lot to top it off and the truck was parked 15' from my window.

I'd go aftermarket before buying a stock skid plate. The stock plate is actually kind of thin, as I eluded to in my previous post...

Well that stock skid plate may LOOK flimsy but it weighs 17lbs! Approximate dimensions are 28"x28"x6.5"...and according to the UPS Store shipping is NOT cheap!

trust me, it is quite flimsy.

I pretzeled the one on my 06 FX4 doing what I consider light 4x4...I also dented the tranny crossmember and put some good deep gouges on the frame rails as well...so maybe it wasn't that light of 4x4 action
