I have that excact setup your wanting, 35W 5K DDM. I chose the 35w over 55w because of the open housing on the lights, didn't want to blind everyone. I also went with 5k over 6k or higher because I really didn't want that cheesy blue look. Made a huge difference of the stock lights, and I thought the stock lights were actually pretty good. I biggest thing that I notice is the distance the light projects, and the performance in the rainy weather. I'll take some pics later tonight. I have stock halogen fogs, but for that price I might pick up another set of 35W 5K for my fogs.

You can tell, especially when you put them against other bulbs. My friend put some DDM 4300k/4500k (don't remember which) in his Zuma, and those things looked blue compared to my 4300k Retrosolutions (granted these have a very slight purple tint to them...tis weird), his 4300k OEM Audi, 4300k VVME fogs, etc...

But, as you said, anything is better than OEM, as long as it isn't 8000k +.

My 6k 35w DDM fogs are a hint blue compared to my 35w Xentec 6k's I got from a user here. You can't notice it unless you are looking for it, but they are.

Well I put the DDM 35W 6k kit on my S4, with Ecode projectors, and they are blue from nearly every angle, but white on the road. But thats due to it being a projector. I didn't want that in my truck, so I went with a lower range.

And if you look at any heat range scale, even the one on DDM's site, 35W 6K is where they start getting blue.

Bi-xenon should come with a wiring harness.

As for slim, it's preferential. It comes down to you wanting to have either one, larger box, or two, smaller boxes. Not sure how much more expensive they are over the regular ones.

On Monday the 5th, I called to check on my order status, I hadn't recieved a tracking number and it still said it was being processed. They told me that they were behind on shipping due to the sale. That's cool. No problem. The guy I spoke to said it would probably ship in a day or so. I got a tracking number on Tuesday the 6th. My package was delievered that Friday, which was the 9th.

When I opened the package, I was missing my 35W 6000k H10 set for my fogs. I only recieved my 35W 6000k Hi/Lo H13 for my heads. I called right after I opened it to see what the deal was.

The person I spoke to didn't seem too knowlegable on the subject. I asked him what happend with my order, gave him my order number. He said he "thinks" the 35W ballasts are on back order. I said, can you confirm this, because I just recieved a 35W ballast. He said, you "probably" got the last one. I think customs is holding our shipment. I said, oh, that's great. Do you know when they will come in? He said, hopefully next week.

I was upset they didn't bother emailing me or calling me to inform me that they wouldn't be sending everything. And yes, I am one of their customers. Never again tho.

BTW. One of my buddies ordered before me. He ordered his stuff in the morning, and I ordered mine later that night. His order number is a hundred in front of mine. He ordered 35W 12000k 9006 and 35W 12000k H10 for his Chevy. He didn't recieved anything. They never sent him a tracking number. After I called on the 9th he finally got an email saying his stuff was on back order. It didn't say what was on back order though. If it is just the ballast, I would think his order should have been processed before mine.

My other friend has a 55W 5000K 9006 kit coming in on monday. His order was placed a couple days after ours.

And just think of the "fun" you'll have if you have troubles with the kit. Their customer service BITES.

Yeah. It has crossed my mind a lot. I recieved an email yesterday to inform me that something I ordered was on backorder, incase it wasn't obvious when they didn't ship it.

To my understanding, the slim ballasts are also 'digital' and help retain radio reception where reception is low. But, they have been prone to fail, a friend with a Super Duty had his ballasts fail after a month, he ordered the Raptor kit and it was perfect for him. Still no loss in radio reception, but a much better lasting ballast.
