I found this to be the issue on earlier trucks and used a mustang pulley as a cheap underdrive pulley.
^^^x2

I'm semi-interested in an underdrive pulley set, but figure with amps, I can't afford to slow the alternator down.

Exactly!! That what 75% of the people come here for. Be careful how you use forums as a way to judge a product. Do some research.

...again I ask, will the 2010 truck fans install on our trucks?

I would imagine it should be possible. Anybody have access to a new truck to do some measurements?

And again I will ask: Which mustang pulleys will work on the f150? Will any 4.6 05-09 mustang pulleys work? Or only specific sets

Thanks

The only problems I have heard with efans are from the troyer sets, or something similar. I have not heard ANYONE bitch about the Mark VIII/DC controller set up. Thats is what I am going with. Getting installed today. And they DC controller has a jumper for those who have UDP's installed to have the fan run at 10% when the truck is one.

As for not enough amps, the UDP will run full charge at 850 RPM's. You just alter your idle speed if you are concerned.

Why is that?

The Chase / BP gas / charge card is the #1 rated rewards program several years running now, I have $150 worth od gas cards that just came in the mail yesterday as some of my rewards. I've been getting rewards since 2007 on it, use it for all gas. Get 5% back on any BP store purchase, 2% back on motel/hotel/dining charges, and 1% back on all other purchases. For the first 60 days it was double, or 10% on the gas. When gas was $4, that was $0.40 per gallon back.

No issues, the gas all comes out of huge tanks and once in the truck, then the additives are added that make BP different from Exxon, etc. BP has a good additive package too.

BP outlets aren't owned by BP, they are owned by locals. If it's a boycott your doing, you only hurt those locals and to some very very small extent, the distributor.

So ..... why?

I don't know the CFM differance between the two but I was kinda surprised about his problem. Has anyone confirmed using the new F150 electric fans in a 04-08 yet?

Its seems highly unlike that FoMoCo would produce two different fans during the same years to put one in the Mark VIII and one in the Taurus. I do know there is a single speed and a two speed fan that appears in both cars.

I have been digging the hell out of my new fan btw. Since I am not towing anything more that a atv every now and then, I am very happy

Now consider the Mark VIII had a 280 hp 4v 4.6 and the Taurus a 150 hp 3.0. I would expect that they used different fans in each application.

Care to share more on your truck setup, any difference in the way the truck revs up at light acceleration, full throttle, mpg increase? power increase?

Thanks
