What size engine do you have?
Did you have to get a shorter belt?

As to wiring e-fans: I've always used a relay to provide power to the fan itself. That way, I can wire it directly to the battery (with an appropriate fuse in-line, of course!) and with large enough wire to handle the current. Make sure the relay you use is rated for at least 50 amps, and I would recommend 8 gauge copper wire, with hi-temp insulation. That way, the control circuits don't have to handle the high currents the fan draws.

Any idea how this setup will work?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

Comes with optional 195* sensor along with 180* sensor and fuses are rated at 150A spikes and 100A loads and claims to have sold over 200 with a .5% failure rate. Id like to purchase this or just his fuse setup and get a mark viii fan but how would controlling the fan work because theres only two settings for this setup 180* and 195*

I know this is an old thread but a few other members asked regarding this info and you never answered. Can you provide a link or a product number for the BBK that would work on a 04-08 5.4 F150?

Thanks.

LS1 Camaro/Vette electric fans and an autozone fan controller with two relays....

Worked for YEARS this way and I don't have any problems.

Also, there are 5.25", 5.5", and 5.75" factory water pump pulleys that came on our trucks....
