Exclamation Train Horn Help

Ok. So I have some Shocker Train Horns from HornBlasters and need some help with finding a good place to mount everything.

I have searched, but most of the pictures of what I need are now broken links, or the person who has the setup I would like, doesn't have any pictures, just words. Who doesn't have a camera on their phones these days.

The truck is a 2007 Supercrew with a 6.5 bed. It has the extra large tank. I have a spare tire, so using that location isn't an option. I don't have a tool box and need the bed space, so that isn't going to work either. I'm really open to suggestions after that. I would like a nice clean/hidden install. I could really use pictures, but descriptions of where some of yall have mounted them would be great too.

I have the Shocker XL Train Horns. Each horn has a 5" flare, and are 12.75", 14.75", 16.25", and 19.5" in length.

The compressor is a Viair 444C Air Compressor. It is a sealed compressor, so the outside elements shouldn't be an issue. It is 11.25" in lenth, 4.0" wide, 6.75" in height, and weighs 9.75lbs.

The tank is a 2 Gallon 6 Port Air Tank. The tank is 17" in length, 6" in diameter, 7" in height, and weighs 9.465lbs.

I know some people have mounted the horns in between the radiator and grille, which seems like a good place, but I'm not sure about how to mount them. I also noticed there was some space above the exhaust on the passenger side of the truck. Do you think heat would be an issue?

Any help is appreciated. Pictures are great.

Thanks for the reply. In the bed would be an easy install, I even have a cover for the bed, but I can't sacrifice any bed space.

I know a few people said they mounted their tanks and/or compressors there. Do you have a horn setup?

If you go to hornblasters website and click on installs, it actually shows you different trucks and how each person set theres up, I took my spare tire out and mounted mine right there. There really isnt too many places to put it

I looked through every install at hornblasters website before I purchase. Mainly the F150s though. One had everything in a toolbox. Another had it behind the grille, but the pictures were really crappy.

No sir just been around them my whole life. im gonna pick up a kit sooner or later. i run a spare also so mine will be along the frame. I will have a tank separate from the compressor so i can position everything how i want it.

The spare tire location is the best place, but I don't want to lose my spare, and I need the bed space for work.

Do you have any pictures of the compressor or tank? I have seen your horns in the bed and the videos. Thanks.

I removed my spare and put it under the bed of my truck. It will soon go in my garage. I bought this thing called a cell phone. If I get a flat tire, I will call my wife and make her bring me the tire, or I will call AAA. I have the same exact setup you do. The tank is welded to the frame rail directly behind the plate, the compressor is mounted right next to it. The Horns are strapped down with several peices of plumber strap and screwed to the frame rails.
