Most programmers allow recalibrating for tire size. Another option is to take it to teh dealer and have them reflash for the new tire size.

Was a tuner responsible for blowing your transmissions... twice? What makes you believe a tuner is hard on your transmission? Stuff happens sometimes, but there are a lot of guys with tuners that have many trouble free miles on their transmissions. A tuner can accomodate tire size changes. I believe a tuner can improve the shift performance on these transmissions without fear of damaging anything. Depending on how large your tires are, you might consider re-gearing the truck to put less stress on your transmission.

I've been using an edge tuner for around 70,000 miles. I talked with edge many times and they stand by their product obviously saying there is no way the tuner could have caused it. But 2 transmisions later I've decided it's time to go another route. The tires are only 33" on 22" wheels.
