help deciding, column vs. floor shift
I like my column shift. Floor shift seems like a waste of space to me and makes the interior feel smaller.
One advantage of the floor shift may be the air vents. If you have the column shift the rear air vents are under the seat and just don't seem to be adequate in hot weather. Fine in the winter though. Not sure if rear air is any better with a floor shift, but I would think it would help.
Keep in mind too the middle seat does not have a shoulder belt so it's not something you would ever want to use on a regular basis. It does come in very handy though.
