smoked by a Tundra, should I be ashamed?

Well, here is the story, none of this was planned, it just kinda happend, and normally I never race on the highway. but it happensso, I am at a light, in the left lane, in the right lane is a older dodge 1995 ish dodge ram, behind it a 02 ish chevy 1500.
behind me, a new toyota Tundra.
so the light is at the base of a hill, turns green and I get the wise idea to see just how fast I am compared to everyone else.
well, I got showed up.
The toyota about pushed me up the hill, the dodge tried but the chevy ended up passing him, but unable to catch us.
like I said, he could have pushed me up the hill faster than I was able to go under my own power, he passed me after I changed lanes, and pulled me easy all the way to 85 when I quit, at 85 he was STILL just pulling away easy.
anyway here is my win loss record.
1995ish dodge, no chalange
1991 chevy short wheel base (co-worker) 350CI gave me a good at luanch run but I pulled him by a fender after a few feet.
V-6 mustang I used to own, no challange.
2001 chevy small V-8 no challange (I might be even with the big V-8 the 6.3, but I doubt it)
?? tundra, complete loss. all I know is it had the I-force badge as it went by.
are our trucks really that slow? my custom tunes and CAi really helped, the truck was much slower stock, but that toyota embarrsed me bad.
I wanted to catch up with him and give him a thumbs up as a good sport but I never could catch him.
Toyotas are a bit faster than the fords as i understand. I guess I don't own my truck to be a drag racer, so I'm not to worried about it. All i care about is that 18 ft dove tail trailer that seems to always be tailgating me.
That silverado was prolly the 4.8 or 5.3 at biggest. No such thing as a 6.3
I would rather have our trucks be a bit slower and more reliable. I will admit, even on my tow tune, my truck moves in the times I have had to punch it

anyone remember the crack in the back of the ford explorer, seems like everyone has them lol. is that because they are so fast? just wondering.
edit: i was jk.

Tell you what though, that old 91 chevy sure gave me a real susprise, as old as it was jumping the line on me like htat, but it ran out of steem shortly after.
I used to always joke with the ower at work about how old and slow it is, but its pretty stout TBH.
The Tundra has a 5.7L with 381 engine hp stock. Way more than my F-150 (300, stock), but the Tundra still can't pull or haul like an F-150, that's what trucks are for anyway, at least for me.
Turd-as, cant haul crap. Really rather have a truck that can haul and its go pedal wont get stuck. But I know what you mean, I test drove a Turd-as before buying my F150, it would be nice to have a little bit more ummph out of the ford engine.
Nothing to be ashamed of, American made, No G money bailout, made with pride...No stuck gas pedals either...
