idk man, i have both an 05 f150 and a 07 tundra. me and my dad use the tundra for work usually pulling our CAT 262c. pulls it pretty good. I once had 15-90lb bags of concrete mix while pulling the cat and didn't have any problem. not saying one is better than the other both are good trucks. Just my 2 pennys.

Nothing to be ashamed of, American made, No G money bailout, made with pride...No stuck gas pedals either...

Maybe the next Ford truck will have a new engine. Maybe the 5.0 they are putting in the mustangs.

Question my opinion!!!!!

As we all know fords are definatley not the fastest or most rugged trucks out there. But u just cant beat the comfort and the ride quality of a ford, which is why i own one. theres very good quality in all trucks though. My dad owned a Nissan titan last year, they are wonderful trucks. They have alot of power and will pull anything you hook onto them... Same with the tundra's very powerful trucks. My dad just traded the titan to a 2008 dodge ram bighorn. its a really nice truck and it has alot of power and towing capacity, but i rlly dont think they compare to the titan or tundra. But thats just me. if i remember correctly, isn't ford coming out with a BIGGER v-8? IM PRETTY SURE I HEARD THAT SOMEWHER, SOMETHING LIKE A 5.7 OR 6.0..... ALSO ON THE SILVERADO'S. THERE PRETTY NICE TRUCKS, ALTHOUGH MY FAMILY HASNT OWNED ONE SINCE 2002 IM NOT RLLY SURE BOUT THE NEW ONES. I RLLY LIKE THE BODY STYLE OF THEM THOUGH. AND THE GMC SERRA DENALI'S HAVE THE BIG 6. SOMETHING IN THEM THERE PRETTY RAW TRUCKS. I BELIEVE THEY ARE THE MOST POWERFUL MASS PRODUCED TRUCKS OR WHATEVER OUT THER. UNLESS U GET THE SS, OR THE SRT-10 OR SALEEN OR SUMMN LIKE DAT.. THAT SALL I NO. I LUV MY FORD THOU. IT has 20 k miles on it and i havent had the first problem outtA IT...

Well my dad has a 2009 tundra with a 5.7 in it and it smokes my truck but I'm rolling 35's and a 4.6 so it is no comparison. That being said I wouldn't trade my Ford for that truck I mean having that much power stock is alot but it rides like crap so bumpy. So dont be ashamed if he beat you at least you got a better ride lol.

My dad works with Ford a lot and the new 6.2 should only be going into the Raptor XTs, HDs, and then the Super Dutys. The Coyote project (5.0 going into the Mustang) is set to *possibly* replace the 5.4L in our trucks by 2011 according to Ford (5.0 Mustang made a great article about the coyote) rated at 412 HP and 390 ft-lbs.

The Tundras are very, very fast. That being said, my only experience with one was a buddy throwing $50 down saying his 2009 Tundra was faster than my custom SCT-tuned '06 F-250 6.0L PSD.

You should have seen his face in the rear-view when my 3/4 ton on 33's left his "hot-rod" he had just bought for $45,000 in the dust

And yes, our trucks are painfully slow. I affectionately call mine the "f-slow fifty." I had a Silverado with the 5.3 in it, and they can and will smoke these F-150's.

But damn these F-150's look good
