5.4, 4x4, 3.73 gears, and 35's

I've got a little money laying around and my birthday is coming up. I'm about to buy some 35's and a rancho 4" lift. I've searched and searched and searched and can't seem to find an answer to my question...what mpg's should I be looking at? Guys that have the 5.4L, 3.73 gears and 35's please chime in and post your mpg's. Sorry for the noob question, but I just want to know everything before I lift and regret the mpg's of 35's vs. 33's and a level kit.

I have the 07 on 35s with the 5.4, 3.73, magnaflow exhaust, aem intake, and custom tuned sct tuner by VMP. on the performance tune i get about 13.5, economy about 15. this is all city driving with no speeds over 50 really.

IM running the 4" rancho, 35s, 3.73s, banks monster exhaust, grpyhon tuner.

with the 87 performance tune i get 9-10mpg (city/highway mix)
with the 93 performance tune i get 12-13mpg (city/highway mix)

I am putting 4.56s in this next weekend because 35s and 3.73s suck when towing.

Wow Mr. Beard, I bet the ranger gets better MPG than the F-150.

I just got 35s on my truck, and not even checked my first tank of fuel but I noticed a slight performance difference. 2004 5.4 4x4 3.73

Running a 6" on my 08 with 35" pro comp xtreme A/T's, 3.73 and 5.4, ive got a banks cold air, a flowmaster 44 and an edge on level 3, and i do a lot of stop and go driving, in 30 and 40mph zones and i get bout 10-12, its the pitts haha but i only drive about a quarter mile each way from my dorms to the shop so i only have to fill up about every two weeks, but i do pretty good on the highway, 70-75mph i can get 15-17 out of her, cant wait to regear

Towed anything with it? I'm looking at a CAI and gryphon tuner to go with my exhaust so we should have around the same numbers. Pictures of your rig?

I'm running a level kit and blocks with 325/60/20's

Pretty much a 35 just wider...

5.4L 4x4 3.73's magnaflow exhaust and cai.

I'm getting around 10 - 13 city and 14 - 16 highway...

I tow a boat and a landscape dump trailer with equipment and a tractor on it without much problem. Going up hill from a dead stop is the only time it really has to work to hard.

Well I'm not worried now about mpg's with 35's and my gearing. Did you get a programmer to reprogram for the larger tires? I've heard the dealership can do it up to a certain limit on both the odometer/speedometer, and TPMS...?

You know, you can do 35's with just a leveling kitl, right? 5.4...3.73's...You'll be fine imo mpg wise.

I know, but I'd rather have a lift.
