For tag lights, check out the link I posted here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/il...ght-cheap.html

194 is the correct bulb, not 192. The ones I put in in that link are 5000k so they're going to be more of a white color than the 6000/6500k.

921 is for the third brake light and cargo lights. You want to put a red led in the TBL though.

Also: the ford license plate lamp housings are VERY small. I'd highly recommend going with the bulb in that link. I've tried countless bulbs that just don't fit. The ones linked fit perfectly and are BRIGHT.

I think 912 is a cross reference. But you're right, he needs 921, which is the correct #, for the TBL and 194 for the tag lamps.

921 and 912 have the exact same base and same bulb dimensions (incandescent). The 921 (incandescent) has slightly more output than the 912. Since this has to do with LEDs, both numbers cross reference and it doesn't matter which you choose.

I've honestly had better luck these days with leds on eBay. All the actual led sellers on sites like that one, superbrightleds, etc are just insanely overpriced and a couple times I ended up paying good money for bulbs that weren't even as bright as the stock incandescents.

Be sure to compare the lumen output of the led your looking at with the output of the standard sylvania incandescent. The led should be more powerful.

Looks kinda cool. But can you actually see when you're inside the truck with the lights on? As in, would you be able to read anything while in there? Just seems dim.

Wait, you have the big ones? Why won't they fit? I have an 04, if they would fit mine I may be interested. Are the lights blue or white? They look more white in your pic but its hard to tell.

i do have the big ones and yes they would have fit, i just decided to go with the smaller one and place it where it would not get stepped on.

they are blue... they are 25 1/2" x 3 1/4". they have double stick tape on all 4 edges. i am sure they would fit your '04 where i have them placed, but make sure you take a measurement.

anyway, send me a PM if you are interested i'll take some pics...
