But what about the bed? I've seen different LED strings for $100s that run along the rails but I know there's less expensive solutions.Any one shot solutions or will strips of LEDs be needed to light up the whole bed and not blow out the wiring in the backup light?

I found this on VLEDs: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p6374224.html

THoughts?
Do you have a bed cover? If not, I wouldn't worry about the strips. Some bright cargo lights should light up the bed nicely.

Well just ordered mine.

Total came out to $39.41. This was for interior lights + license plate lights with the coupon posted on this thread. (by the way thanks for the coupon code!)

I stand corrected, well I wouldn't bother because USPS can mail smaller packages faster than UPS can, unless you really want overnight, but I got mine from WA to PA in 2 days flat USPS.

I got my 36-er and installed it a few minutes ago. I had to bend the metal contacts in the dome light housing down a little, toward the lens. This thing looks great, just like the others posted on here. I can't wait to get the other two so that they all match.

Other two? Didn't you state earlier you have only one type of dome light? Or were you excluding map lights?

My truck has a single dome light, but it has three bulbs in it. The center one comes on when the doors are opened. The two side ones have switches and can be turned on and off manually with those switches. I never realized that I had the two side lights because I always turn on my dome light with the little dimmer wheel next to the headlight switch. i ordered one 36-led for the center bulb and two 20-led bulbs for the side bulbs. All three are 578's, so I should have ordered three instead of one.

On a side note, I have a problem. When my dome light is off, I still get a very low glow from the 36-led bulb, as if it is still getting a small amount of power. Anyone seen this before?

I have heard about it happening before, but never seen it. Basically there is a little power "left in the system," don't know how else to describe it. But I don't think there is anything you can do since the reason it does it is that LEDs use less then 1/2 the power of the the halogens you replaced, so it takes very little to light them to where they have a barely lit look or about 3 volts. Actually I take back what I said that you can't do anything about it but it would require putting a resistor in-line with the LED.

Yeah I think I will wait it out.

I had already did the led swap on everything, even my puddle lamps. I got everything off ebay and they would not stop burning out, exchanged them 2-3 different times and finally took them back and got all my $$ back.

Still got my puddle lamps, as I ordered them from someone else....so every time I open my doors I miss them in everything else!
