Yes, no baby front door, but I spent 6 years in a Supercab and learned what I do not want in tight parking lots.

tiny parking spots try driving a super duty,I usually double park so nobody hits my truck with there door. I can't stand looking at a screw from the side the front door looks retarded now the 09's and up look good.

I wanted a Screw but being 6'2" I had a hard time seeing out the side with the front doors being about 6" shorter than my Scab, now I see the 09s all have the long front doors. Too bad mines paid for now cause the new Screws are HUGE inside with a 61/2' bed to. I work at a GM dealer and the owner is always trying to get me to swap but the silverado crew only has a 5 1/2' bed unless you get an HD, way overkill, oh that and the fact that they are junk LOL

I think there is plenty of room for my back seats. Unless you put a 6'4'' 400 lb person back there but hey that's why I have a 6..5' bed. IMO screws look unproportional. very few that I see pull it off.

Will you be using it to hauling or just hauling friends, if your goung to use it for hauling go with the s-cab w/6.5 bed, if you're going to be hauling friend (which it sounds like since your going to collage) get the s-crew.
Its all about what you want to spend, thats why I ended up with a 04 fx4 scab, I would have prefered a s-crew for my family but i really needed at least the 6.5 bed, would have went with the 06 s-cew w/6.5 bed if it came with the 04 price.
I have a car seat in the back of mine with no problems.

Trust me you want a supercrew, i had a supercab FX4 and now have a supercrew and i would never go back. It was such a hassle opening your door for back seat passengers and the extra room is just nice.
Super Crew for sure!

I drove four door sedans my entire life before I finally bought my first truck at age 33, a new 07. So of course I went with a Screw! Nothing like having a four door sedan with a 6.5 foot bed in the back and 4wd.

dude if you want a truck that looks badass. 97-03 MY trucks dont look very badass at all. i would go with a 94 f250 4x4 diesel. THAT with some lift and big tires a chip gears, possibly stacks, will make all 97-03 trucks look like little girls cars. no doubt about it. hell you could get one alot cheaper too. and have money for mods. and i have a 2000 supercab. so dont give me none bout im dissin other guys trucks, mines in the same lot.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

My truck rides great. Its firm, but not a stiff ride. Very happy. Even with the Toyo M/Ts at 40psi its a great drive.

Super Crew for sure!
The rear Supercab door handles work both ways. They go left for exterior access, and right for the rear seat passengers. Its a hassle to turn your arm back and hit the handle?

For a basic non married young guy a Supercab is perfect, especially with the 6'5 bed. The Supercrew 6'5 is a bit more of a boat to manuver in parking lots, but I would still only get a Supercrew with the 6'5, and if I really needed the extra cab space.

My Supercab fits my thin and big friends fine. Lots of leg room, and enough window room. Only thing I would say that sucks is there isn't a fold down console in the back seat of my XLT. But i'm never back there so oh well for them

I know how they worked i owned one. It was a hassle opening your door for their's everytime. Now they just open theirs and get in. I wish i would have done it right the first time.

Same here, My last F150 was a SuperCab and I hated having to try to open both doors while in a tight place...I have a SuperCrew now and will never go back.
