Can I get a 2004 owner's manual actual hard copy for my supercrew w/o getting it from the dealer ? I hate dealing with our local stealership and all their BullSH*T

any ideas ?

Download the PDF... go to your local print shop, have them print it and bind it.

Do it as a double-sided, square-drilled, 8x4" binded booklet.

Or do what I did... print it off on 8.5x11", drill it, and put it in a binder in the truck.

What's really nifty is that I can keep all my logs, insurance, and other useful info in there.

There ya go.

Do it in 8.5x11" and scale it to fit the page... do it double-sided, and drill it.

Another reason I did that was so I could read it better. You will be doing yourself a favor if you ever need to refer back to the manual... at least it will be easier to read with the larger text sizes.

I'm actually surprised that Ford is still giving out paper manuals with how "green" they want to be...

They should give it out on DVD... and maybe include a handy-dandy service manual too for the consumer to use as an added gift of buying a $30,000 truck.

The official source for all factory manuals is Helm - www.helminc.com. The 2004 F-150 glovebox manual is $30 direct. Add $10 for the portfolio to hold it. If you are paying that much on Ebay, screw that.

The PDFs on MCS' site are authentic...

He's just saying the "official" source for replacement manuals is Helm Inc.

I have a 2004 Workshop Manual for F-150 with the Ford Logo on the front. It is soft cover and 2.5 inches thick.Inside is says to order additional copies call 1-800-782-4356 or write to Ford Publications,c/o Helm Inc., PO Box 07150 Detroit, MI 48207. Don't remember what I paid for it but it is very complete.

Woops - just noticed that you wanted an Owners Manual not a factory service manual.
