k&n drop in + gotts mod, edge evolution level 2, completely maintained (including fuel filter), and a 4.6. here is some eye candy for you.

top right:mph
top left:rpms
bottom right:avg mpg
bottom left:instant mpg

Yea that is what i am doing i will do my miles divided by the gallons i put in there i am still getting about 12 to 13 on flat ground. When i was stock the only thing i ever got was like 14 still not good.

Yea it is a truck i didn't buy it for mpg but was hoping to get a little better than that.

When the money is here i will be getting an intake and a programmer and hope it will help

Hmmmm. I had always heard that a 4wd gets less MPG even when 4wd is disengaged ? Not sure why. Only a little extra weight. But anyway, I haven't done anything to my motor... Oh, Magna Flow true dual exhaust, but I doubt that would add even 1 more mpg....

Guess I should be happy with 19.7

Peace,
Fish

Hey Truck Guy, for myself, that will never happen. My truck runs perfect. I don't want / need to change anything. If it ever does have a problem, I don't want to have to lie about having used a tuner.... and the fact is even if the tuner had nothing to do with the problem {and I believe that sometimes, tuners DO cause problems} the dealer would try to say that it was the cause, no matter what.

Top that off with the fact that they are illegal in CA, and one more thing to hassle with removing, then replacing, every two years when smog is due.... No thanks.

If my truck was an old beater, and I lived in a different state.... maybe.

The only thing a tuner would be nice for, is to callibrate my speedometer, for my slightly larger than stock tires. And the thing is, this can actually be done with the factory computer...... only it requires going to a dealer and being bent over the counter !
I think some aftermarket places can do it for you, but my local truck place still doesn't have the software for an 08'

Peace,
Fish

Hey TruckGuy, nahhhh..... even with as much photography as I've been doing, it's all been birds and wildlife, with my new 400mm lens..... so unless I was a long ways from my truck, I couldn't even fit it in the frame
Plus, I haven't done anything to the truck in quite some time.
Still though, when I'm walking towards it, and the sun is hitting it just right, I get that, "Darn that looks good, and its mine Whoo Hoo" feeling Definitely still my baby

Peace,
Fish

Bummer, such a nice truck. One of my favorites. Functional yet unique and well put together. You should be proud of it
