Hey guys...well i want to paint my stock handles red to match the truck. Can i do this the same way i painted my mirror caps? sand em down and paint with the spray can ? thnaks

 

I don't see why you couldn't. I have actually been thinking about doing the same to my truck. Either I will paint the handles or buy the IPCW led door handles. Have not decided which I will do yet. How did your mirror caps turn out?

 

Mirrors turned out great...used a little to heavy grit to start out but they smoothed out fine.
Handles will be double the work im sure

 

I dont see why that wouldnt work.... but I know when i did mine it was a lot of work.. hard sanding all the grooves and contours.. your hands will def feel it

 

Devin, Go to the Technical article section (or this forum as well) I just did a write up on PTM mirrors; the same procedure will work for the handles. It will be easier if you disassemble the handle (bucket from handle strap).
