Yep. Which is why I mentioned ETC. That is , in effect, the 'torque pedal' on trucks so equipped. You can ask for torque all you want, but the PCM has the last say as to whether or not you get any. Example - if the IAT's happen to be elevated, the engine room will NOT answer to 3 bells

Remember - he said "i been tuning it i have hptuners let me try see if it works.... "

If the ETC stuff is peckered in the tune .....

Meh - not necessary - I just flash the TC in Drive. I get better results than that, on either an 87 or a 93 perf tune.

But on a more serious note FAST. You need to set up some dyno time they will be able to see where the truck is falling on its face and be able to tune it from there.
