Well the mods o the truck are, 3.73, cai, pulleys, exhaust, and cams. The truck had a edge programmer the guy who sold it to me say that the edge came with the cam and it didt spin the tires with the edge. I dont have traction control.

Yea that was it has a long delay, whenever i punch it from a dead stop it goes by slowly till it pick up like 20 miles or so...

With a cam change you need a dyno tune and that's where you problem is it should be burning the tires off the truck. I have a 04 ford f150 supercrew dropped 4-6 on 24s with sct tuner, jlt intake, banks 3.5" exhaust dumped after the axle with 3.55 gears and at dead stop I and stomp on it and leave two 6 foot long black marks and when I powerbrake it and can burn the tires all day if I wanted. with the setup I have I actually broke a drive shaft doing 30 mph and stomp it down shifted and that's all she wrote but you diffently need a dyno tune.

Maybe he likes to go to the local drag strip and have fun on the weekends just like many of us do therefore needing to spin the spin tires to help warm the tires up to get traction

How hot is that cam? It might be the torque converter doesn't have enough stall if you expanded your rpm range.

I blame torque management

Key is light on the brake, and do it in first gear, not in drive. My 5.4 3.73 LSD did pretty good with stock tune, but scares me sometimes with the custom tune. Even with 33" Toyo's I was stupid one day and didn't want to wait for traffic so i put down about 1/2 - 3/4 throttle to pull out onto a road before a car coming did ( i was going his opposite direction ) and I spun the freaking Toyos, I was amazed, and mad cause I spun my $1400 tires . But I manuvered like a mad Corvette, little zig zag. Was kinda fun, yet reckless.

This was 1st gear at 4600rpm, then upshifted to 2nd at 3000, and rode it off floored in 2nd.
