black with lt blue stripe I think. no I tapped it in the rear sill then ran it out under truck thru frame to rear of truck then up thru taillight into bed

 

So they only come on when the done lights or lightsin gernal are on?

 

Yes dome light only, open the door roll the dash dimmer up. One cool thing if it is dark and you unlock with remote it kicks them on for like 45 seconds or so.

 

Sweet!! I have a light for each side of the bed, is the wire on both sides of the truck so I can tap into it on the pass side as well as the drivers side?

 

FOund out today that there is a way to do it thru the trailer hitch, the positive wire. I Just need to buy the #5 (I think) relay in the fuse panel

Not sure if it will be a normal relay or some sort of a special one, got side tracked with my Dad going to the hospital today...
