I never did like the looks of the rubber/vinyl console cover on my FX4, and had thought of replacing with the Lariat version.

A friend of mine has been doing seat covers for motorcycles recently and I asked him to look into doing something for my truck.

This is what he came up with...it is a covering over the existing vinyl version with the FX4 logo.



Thoughts?

I will post another with it installed when I have some daylight tomorrow.

Had the one I installed in my truck covered with the same tan leather that I had the seats reupholstered with. Like your idea too....

Just add a light red piping and that would look freakin awesome in my 05. Looks really good in your truck just need leather seats to match

It looks great, Really need matching seats!

 

I covered mine in fur that matched the interior.But also made one for a member with the Lariat logo I put on his headrest.
I did mine in fur because my dog likes to sit in the back with her paws on the console and with fur I dont have to worry about scratches or punctures
