Is it worth it? Free lift and rim/tires!!!!

So here's the deal, I want to put my truck back to stock (or level/lower it with some nice 22" rims). As you can see it is lifted and I do not want a lifted truck anymore. I also do not want to buy a new truck...I do not want another payment. I have 2 Harleys...one with a payment. I put all my money and time in those now.

Anyway, I would be willing to give all my stuff away IF the person receiving it paid to swap out everything...all I want is your stock parts including wheels and tires. We can even have the gears swapped out. The person getting all this would just pay for the swap.

Would it be worth it?

This is real. As you can see, I'm a long time member...I just haven't been on here the past couple years.

Like the original post states, I don't want a lifted truck anymore. Plain and simple. Of course, everything is not "like new" condition either...it's all been on my truck for almost 5 years.

I have the Fabtech 6" lift with Dirt Logic coil overs, Fox w/res in the rear, MotoMetal 951's with 35" ProComp Extreme All terrains. Tires are about half way through their tread life.

I spend all my time and money on my Harley. I thought about buying a new truck, but I just don't want too. I don't want another payment.

That gave me a thought. Do a swap. I haven't been in this scene that much lately and not sure if it would be worth it for somebody. All the person has to do is pay for the swap and let me have their stock stuff.

This is not a BS offer...I'm serious. I'm in SoCal.

I would do one piece of research first. With all 6" or higher lift kits, it requires cutting into one of the factory cross members, I believe to allow a deeper drive shaft travel or something. Make sure you can even go back to stock, because the part that was cut can not be replaced or repaired. I had a friend realize he couldn't do it with his 04 STX so lifted he stays.

Other than that, how much would a shop charge to do the swap?

Good advice. But, IIRC the only cutting that needs to be done is on 2WD trucks and that was on only certain lifts and years. I could be wrong though.

I have no clue how much a shop would charge but I'm willing to bet is WAAAY cheaper than buying everything and having it installed.

When you had your lift installed you had to cut 2 pieces of the front crossmember to attach the fabtech lift. in order to bring it back down to stock you would need to weld on the pieces they cut off the other truck.
