Which DieHard Platinum Battery?

I've narrowed my choice for a new battery down to the DieHard Platinum battery. Does anyone know which size battery I need?

My thinking is that the P-2 (Group Size 65) should work, but when I put my trucks details in, it says the battery is incompatible???? My truck is a 2004 (non-heritage) XLT regular cab w/5.4 engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
JJ

just get the biggest one you can find.

there is a ton of room under the hood for one. I personally would grab a 850 CCA...or bigger

Thanks guys. With the weather guys forecasting -24F last night and my stock battery probably getting to the end of its life, I figured I better be planning ahead for a trip to Sears.

Batteries

I haven't had a need to buy a battery in a couple of years, but when I have I've gotten the biggest one that will fit with the hightest cranking amps with the posts oriented correctly. The are different cranking apps in the same case and in cold weather, the more the better.

My 2 cents

Paul

I went to storage to start my truck and drive it yesterday evening.

I hadn't driven it since October 20th 2009 when I put it in there. That's just a few days shy of exactly 12 weeks since storage.

I figured I'd take my portable battery starter with me... just in case. What happened?

Started first try with no signs of lag whatsoever... amazing! My Ultima RedTop would have, well and truly, died in the *** in the same time frame.... well before , actually.

Like silk05f150 said ... "this is a bad ***" battery!!
