You know what I think.

Like others have said you'll kick yourself for not going with 20s. I still say Toyos, too, for the same reason. As for rubbing, if you stick with a 33" tire you shouldn't rub as long as you have a leveling kit (can't remember if you put one on or not?). Not unless you go with a crazy spec'd wheel.

To give you an idea of the BS/Offset and sticking out...mine are 5.71" BS and +18mm offset. Took this when I got them:

They ride great. When you first put them on they are noisy because of the tread, but now it's a nice low hum. If I ever go to a different tire it will be the KM2s, and that would be just to try them out. These are now my favorite tires.

yea I agree they are the sexiest tires on the market, but the KM2s are a very close second they're pricer than the open country M/Ts.....so do they ride rough over bumps & all that because they are a 10 ply? I love the look of both of these tires

What level do you think I should get AS 2" or 2.5" ?? I want know rubbing

Nope no roughness over bumps for me, and I have been keeping the pressure around 50 per tire. I'm experimenting to strike a balance between comfort and wear. The only time I have ever felt the tread is making turns from stopped positions. They're great.

You have an '04. The general rule of thumb is '04-'05 go with 2.5" and '06-'08 go with 2" to be level (I think). I didn't want to go just by that, though, so I went out and actually measured the difference between the front and back. It varies a little bit truck to truck. I'd say go measure and then take your pick. If you don't want the bulldog stance, though, a 2" would level you out close enough, even if you had a small bit of rake left.

If you put a leveling kit on, you won't have to worry about any rubbing with 33s. Here's the one I bought:

Remember to get an alignment after you install.

Ok That's the one I was looking at on Ebay, I would like it to look almost level if not perfectly level...I don't wanna have a pre-runner style suspension Headlights in the sky

I think I'll stick with a 2" then I shouldn't have any rubbing correct ?

Correct--don't worry about rubbing with a leveling kit and 33s.

Ok so those are 18"s, heres my 20s with 33x12/5 Toyos. Also 2" Bilstein strut level.

Yes the 20" wheel size does look more desirable, but if the extra $450 some added to your complete tire package isn't worth it you may not want them. The only rubbing mine have are at full turn in reverse. It rubs the lower a-arms and theres barely 1/4" of space between the Toyo sidewall lugs and the upper A arm. Wheels are 20x9 with 5.71 BS / +18 offset. The rubbing it has is no biggie since its only the lower arms.

I forgot yours rubbed, Darren. Have you found anyone else that rubs there? I'm thinking it may be the Bilsteins. Is it possible they're not a full 2"? There are lots of guys that run pretty much the same setup with no rubbing.

Yeah the difference is about $400. If price is a factor but you do want the 20s, I say save up just a bit longer. Put away $40 a week and in ten weeks you're set.

That price doesn't seem bad for 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T's mounted on 20x9 Addicts.

IMO..... the 18"/20" debate really depends on the wheel in question. Some "cluttered" (for lack of a better term) wheels like Monsters, Rockstars, etc. look better in 20s. On the other hand some less cluttered (again..... for lack of a better term) wheels like Moto Metal 951's, **** Cepek DC1's, etc. look fine in 18s but begin to look really big in 20s.

I've always decided which wheels I want and then decided on a size. I had a hard time deciding between XD Monsters or Moto Metal 951's. Had I went with the Monsters I would have went with 20s but I went with the Moto Metal 951's so I went with 18s.

Like the guys above said..... if you really want to go with 20s (regardless of wheel choice) don't get the 18s. In no time they'll end up in the classifieds section and you'll be out some money.

Here was a good review of them Baja ATZ

Now if you do purchase these, there are two different ones. One is more of a radial. But I like them and I think would purchase them again
Just a FYI

I had the ATZ PLUS - MICKEY THOMPSON TIRES on my jeep for 26k miles.

i think they had honeslty 50% tread still on them, never had any problems.

Yeah I just haven't been interested in posting elsewhere besides the exhaust forum lately.
