Some shots of my truck
Some shots of my truck
Hi all, I've been a member here for a while but mostly a lurker gathering info for when I decided to start modfiying my truck. Thanks to all the posters on this board for sharing the wealth of information here.
Here's my baby. It got to live it's first 2 1/2 years in bone stock condition but looking at all the great trucks here gave me the itch to start tinkerning. I needed new tires this year so I figured if I'm shelling out a few bucks I might as well make my truck look the way I want it to.
It's a 2007 FX4, I just put in an Autospring 2.5" level and 3" blocks in the rear and threw some 325/60/20 Dunlop Rover Maxx Traction tires on. I also bought a Gryphon programmer to make it all work. I'm happy to finally have my truck looking like a truck.

hehe, I'm on the fence.
I really like the way it looks, but there's a price to pay on functionality as well. I've still got some trimming to do on the inner fenders to get rid of the rubbing during normal driving but we'll see what happens when the going gets rough. I needed to use 1/4" spacers to get the tires off the upper control arms and it still rubs at full lock. I need a truck to be a truck and not just a show pony.
If I had unlimited funds I would have went with a 6" lift and aftermarket rims.
