Picked up my "new" truck yesterday

:santa:Thrilled with my purchase so far, 06 f150 s-crew lariat, 4x4. The dealership is replacing both rear shocks for me b/c one is leaking badly. Windhshield has a chip so they are replacing it. Both rubber trim pieces at the end of the valence are being replaced, new blue oval ford emblem in grill was installed. One thing they didnt do, which I have to take back is when you start it and the air kicks on, you get a "grinding" or clicking sound coming from inside the dash. It sounds like it may be a vent door opening or something in the blower fan. The sound goes away quickly but is still annoying...Anyone got this or heard of this?? Thanks for the help in advance... This site is great thus far, so much info...

When I switch from defrost to air it sounds like a quiet fart (sorry) but works fine. Congrats on purchase.

Congrats on the purchase.

Not to hijack, but does anyone know the part numbers for the two sides of the cowl pieces?

I will try to get pics soon, I took all of my nieces and nephews putt putt golfing yesterday and then go cart riding and the reward I got for all of that was dropping my digital camera on the track and everyone running over it!!! As far as the valance caps go, they told me they were on order, whether they mean the whole valence or not is beyond me, but i will find out soon..
