ive got the 3in level kit in the front...

the other day,,i tried to engage my 4x4 and hear some clanking..i just replaced the vacuum hubs a few months ago..i checked my axle shafts and they are tight..would someone know what would be going on...

 

Did you replace the solenoid that locks the hubs in? If the hubs are bad, this is the part that usually causes it an luckily it is under $20.

 

i am not sure about that...i went to ford and they replaced the whole vacuum hub set up on both sides...would the 3" level kit have anything to do with it..maybe the angle is too much for them to engage properly...just a tought
