i ve had my 09 emblems on for a few weeks but have been to lazy to take pics until today.

i cut off the trim tab and painted them flat black and DSG inlays from patriot decals








i also took the advice of Wingman and painted my skid plate, with a bed liner spray

Emblems look cool. I've planned on doing that for a while. And I planned on painting them exactly the same.

Emblems look great, I like them without the tabs either

The skid plate looks awesome too, I need to look into that, along with most of the other nasty colored crap under my truck

I've been contemplating doing this myself.. the new emblems look a lot sportier. I'm definately gonna take this within the next month or so..

How much did the new emblems run you? Did you just pick them up from the dealer.. or?

Is it just me, or do those inlays not fit exactly? It looks cool.. but I'm just curious..

i got them for $75 from Tasca

the inlays fit , it was just a matter of me lining them up right

let me tell you they were a pita to put on, and as you can see they are not perfect , but im satisfied

I told ya so!!! thats why i only put the inlays on my tailgate emblem!!!!
i didnt have the patience to do the fenders
