Low brake dust pads
#16
your not talking about the little 13mm bolts are you?
ok well i put the thermoquiets on this afternoon, and drove it around the block and everything seem fine. hopefully i didnt contaminate anything so that i get warped rotors.
after i clean the truck tomorrow and get all the brake dust off then i will know how they do

That's interesting. I have 80,000 miles on mine and they never have. Maybe there is some incomsistancy or maybe it is different driving styles. I don't drive easy though and I use my brakes. Have to around DFW.

I have to agree with blue, I was so happy with my wagner TQ's that I want to put them on everything I own.
No dust ever, I was washing 20's 2 times a week. Once I swapped pads I washed them 2 a month and that was for fun just to keep them shiny only road dust was on them.

I have the Wagner TQ Ceramic and when I first installed them they were dusting but not like stock. To the point I had to wash my rims every 3 days. After 8k miles it has been better, now I clean them once a week and they are just lightly dusted. Also keep in mind I have black wheels so you will see it easier. I also have slotted and dimpled rotors and from what im hearing now they act like cheese graters on the pad causing more dusting then regular smooth rotors. I dont know how true that is.

100% agree. Not knocking anyone, but I don't believe anyone who says they get no dust - maybe less dust, but not no dust. With that said when my Perfect Porterfield Pads with the No Dust Ever In Online Forums feature wear out I'll try the Wagners, my expectation is they'll cost less and most likely dust just as much as the Porterfields. If anyone feels so compelled to disagree then you can shut me up by sending me a set of the Wagners ![Big Grin](https://www.f150online.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
