Screeching Window

This is a strange problem. I have a 2004 F150 extended cab. When I put my drivers side window down, power window, I hear a screeching sound. The drivers side is the only one to do it. My friend who also has a 2004 F150 has the same problem. I took the truck to the local dealer and low and behold they didn't hear anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I too have this problem, but no answers. All I can figure is that is has something to do with the weather, because at least on my truck, it only happens when it's hot and humid. I have an 04 scab, but a buddy of mine has a 04 screw and his does it too, but only on hot and humid days.

My '06 also makes that noise on only the driver side window. It goes up and down fine and it only makes the noise when the truck has been sitting in the sun on a hot day. Haven't taken the time to look into it since it only does it in those conditions, but would be nice to know what it is.

pop off the door panel and grease up the cable/pulleys. Both of my windows did that and I took apart the passenger side and greased everything that moves and now it does not squeak/screech.
