Buyers Remorse!!!
There is a little story I heard long ago that I revive when I have the urge to impulse purchase something. And it goes like this.
There was this old bull and a much younger bull standing on a hill overlooking a heard of cows. The younger bull turned to the older one and said
" Hey, lets run down there and screw one of those lady cows". Without lifting his head the old bull responded, " No son, lets just take our time and walk down there and screw them all".
Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Depends on what you want to do with it. If you tow, the 5.4 is definitely worth it and you get a stronger transmission too with the 5.4.
Trading any vehicle is a losing proposition financially almost every time.

I'm not so sure. That 2007 is a nice truck. Take a look at the window sticker.

I have an opposite but similar process when I buy something. I see what I want, research the Hell out of it to the point where I get overloaded with info and almost say forget it. Then I relax, make a solid decision that I'm happy with and then after I'm done I say to myself, "Could I have gotten something better?" Then I start second guessing my purchase and start looking up more cr@p.
I do this with everything. Buying footwear is a long process. I go to every store in the area, compare prices, styles, fit, etc. Buy the shoe or sneaker, then don't wear it for several days in case I change my mind and want to return it.
My problem is that I want the best without getting ripped off and I go through so much trouble to ensure I'm comfortable with my purchase.
Now I try to just make a decision after a little solid research and do it because I hate the long process.
In other words, stick with your 4.6.

Keep the 4.6 truck and put a S/C on it. I just recieved the new issue of MM/FF today, they have a small write up about the Tork Tech S/C for the 4.6 2v PI head engines. It's basically designed for the 99-04 mustang GT's but it will fit your truck. They have several versions, from one with the TVS 1.9L to the magnuson M112 kit to just the I/C manifold and pulley setup that uses the 03-04 cobra blower, great for a whipple or KB mammoth or any 03-04 cobra upgrade blower. They also have removable ears on the manifold so you can install spacers to fit a 5.4 2v, and they have 3v ears also, so basically it will fit 4.6 2v-3v and 5.4 2v-3v.

If you really want to do something wait until the 2010 FX2 comes out and see if your like it. I haven't really seen any good pics online to justify if I like it or not but I do love the interior on the 2010 Harley.

Now what did you have to do that greencrew?? I had my mind made up that I was going to keep my truck...lol. Maybe I will try to sell it and get the money out of it that I orginally put down instead of trading. Like others have said, if I trade it in, I will most likely lose money.
Thanks for the advice bro. You're part of the reason why I want the red FX2! I blame you! lol. Your truck is sick man, very nice.
Back in December I bought my 2008 new... I went in looking for a used FX4 with the 5.4. I walked out with what they had... a new XL with the 4.6. I have put 9,000 miles on it and it has plenty of guts for me.
