They are original ford covers out of a lariat, you just have to sew up the hole where the rear armrest goes. If you want the full leather experience then also get the black leather console lid part #5L3Z-1506024-AAC and the black leather shifter handle part #5L3Z-7213-T

Azula if you don't like the towing mirrors i will gladly trade you for my regular XLT mirrors and take the towing mirrors off your hands

 

The 4.6 is a good engine, many mods avail to get what you want. i have a 5.4 great engine, but I keep my foot in it a lot due to the mods and gas milage is not that great. Keep what you got and build from there. Good things come in small packages!

 

Thanks for the info Red. As for now, I will try to sell it for the price I bought it for so I can get my down payment back. If that option fails then I will keep it. Wish me luck.

 

I had a 4.6 in my last truck and it was great for pulling a boat, jet skis, atv, etc... I did notice a sizeable difference power wise when I "upgraded" to a 5.4 though. Of course the 4.6 had alot more miles on it too.

 

I think your taking this a bit far. Just because you didn't get the biggest engine, you're putting your brand new truck that you just got on ebay.

 

Check out that 2010 FX2 you may like it.

4.6 Punisher, I figured I have nothing to lose (except time) if I sell it for what I bought it for, if not....worst case scenario is that I am stuck with a nice 4.6 FX2....I can live with that.

 

Nice truck, is it just me but i hate the huge center console shifter. I like my bench bucket seats on my xlt. I like haveing the extra room.

 

Hey Azula, what everyone has failed to mention is the 4.6 is practically a bulletproof engine. It doesn't have the cam phaser problems (no VCT), no sticking injectors like the 5.4 does, no plugs that break off in the head. These were/are problems the current 3v 5.4 have. If you want more oomph from your 4.6, go spend 2K and get a good CAI, cat-back exhaust, a programmer or custom tunes, a set of e-fans, and a set of gears. with those mods you can run with any stock 5.4

I didn't want to start a new thread on this. Does anyone know where I can find some FX2 mirrors? I have the tow package mirrors on my FX2 currently.....
