Lifted 2WD,S

Do they make a 5-3 lift for 2wd, like a block out back and a spacer and spindle in front

yes

go on eBay and search for Pro Comp lift kits. They sell a 2wd 6" lift kit. Looks pretty good. And runs about $1200

a few people on here have them. WXSCPO had one on his old 2006 Lariat. Looked awesome

I believe there is no difference between the 4wD suspension and the 2wD suspension. In that case a 2wD would be even easier to lift because you don't have to worry about the front drive train.

you know youve been into the lowered scene when you ask for a 5/3 lift.

mostly right

the spindles are different. and so are the struts for the coil-over. the 4x4 struts are 1" taller...and a 4x4 has a 1 5/8" (2" roughly) block in the rear

a 4x2 lifted 6" will be 1" shorter up front and about 2" shorter out back than a regular 4x4 lifted 6"

I just wanted like 3" overall, but I meant 5 in front to level it more and still get it in the garage, And yes I had a lowered Ranger, lol. Look at my album

That is really the same point I want to make. Put in some 4x4 struts and a the 2" block and only the spindles are different. Now the lifted 6" 4x2 will sit at the same height as a regular 4x4 lifted 6".

i am assuming you say 5/3 lift cause your truck already sits 2" higher in the rear? i am thinking about lifting my truck soon, i already have the 2" leveling kit on it so i guess that would come off, i don't know all that much about the parts involved

yup, want 3" all around plus 2" to level front, no body lifts, Looks like I have to go 6" but is that 3" in back 6" in front or 6" all around

A full lift kit (say 6") will give 6" in the front and 3 or 4" in the rear depending on the kit. AFAIK there are only 3 full suspension lifts for 2wd's, Pro-Comp, Fabtech, and Skyjacker. Here is the links to the install instructions.

pro-comp http://www.explorerprocomp.com/PDFs/is/52205MX.pdf
fabtech http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/pd...on%20Sheet.pdf
skyjacker http://www.skyjacker.com/image/search/pdf/F4621STKS.pdf
