Just rolled over to 160K yesterday...towing a 6 X 13 cargo trailer up I5...I have put 2K miles on it in the last 3 weeks...

I saw 103 while towing and the temp gauge never moved from its normal spot...I did only get 270 miles on the tank of gas...

I know I am on borrowed time...

 

I will hit 195,000 this week and the truck still runs and looks good.

 

I just hit 252k and everything seems to still be good

 

I should hid 30,000 by the end of August. Does that count?

 

I have a 05 that has right at 300k on it. I am in the processor of rebuilding motor due to #7 oil ring coming apart. motor and trans is back in. have not started it yet.

 

I'm at 128k on a 2004, but only got 110k before a cam phaser went south and lunched a head. 18k so far on a Jasper.

 

266K on a 2003 f150 7700 series and it's running strong.

Has ticking and thinking about running 15W40 oil... thoughts?

I've got an 05' Screw 4x4 XLT with Roush appearance package with 188894 miles on it. I bought it with 186,000 for $7500. The p.o. did vct sensors ,timing chains,tensioners, and guides. It makes cam phaser noise after the oil gets warm, and needs a spark plug change. I used to be a tech and can handle the job myself luckily. The other bad part is that I notice it uses some oil so I don't know if the rings are going or valve guide seals.

i have 260k plus on my 2004 f150 5.4 3v Crew cab 4x4 lariat.
Mostly original except:
batteries
brakes,
alternator,
plugs,
just now put on Chinese ebay coil on plugs,
shocks,
shifter interlock switch,
upper control arms (didn’t need)
many hail damage events,
many deer hit,
one exhaust bolt leaked.
just put drivers side power window regulator and passenger rear. Easy and cheap.

ticks like crazy.
Will put on cam phasers, oil pump, tensioners, and chains myself.
i have phasers unplugged now.

4H does not show on dash. Will replace 4x4 shift solenoid soon.

getting little paint bubble in rear cab corners. Must be rain leaking from third brake light?

doesnt use oil or smoke. Oil filter base leaks.

Needs lower control arm bushings. Pops like crazy on pot holes.
