just hit 218,000 on my 05 screw lariat. Owned since new. Still on original cam phasers. Oil changes every 5000, motorcraft 5w-20. 6" procomp lift, Superchips tuner and magnaflow exhaust, K&N intake since 10,000. Also pull a 7000lb travel trailer since 180,000. Did have a shift solenoid go at 172,000 and tore some things in the tranny. Now has a remanufactured tranny through the dealer. Best truck I've ever owned.

Good for youz guys with lots of miles on a 5.4L 3V, that is how an engine is supposed to perform - lots of miles year after year. I got one of the 04 POS engines that had major work required at 34,000 miles under original warranty. It died at 98,000 due to oil starvation, burnt valve, and warped head. Now I have a new POS Ford reman 5.4L 3V to live with. That cost $$$. Wrote a nasty letter to Ford, got a typical mealy mouth reply from Ford. This is my last Ford, lost all faith and confidence in this engine. I have paid enough $$$ to hold this opinion.

185k miles on my '04 Super Crew. I can't recall anything major other than routine maintenance so far (knock on wood). Handed it down to my kid about two years ago.

Now at 153K. Did new plugs at 110k and also flushed the tranny. Have cleaned the MAF about 3 times after 100k when it wouldn't idle properly. That fixed the issue.

Had a rear pinion gear go out at 100k, but that is all that has gone wrong. Great truck.

Mine 2006 has 151K
I have to change the gear of the rear differential because is making some noise after 45 mph but other than that runs great.
