Maybe look into an 18" magnaflow si/so. You could by the muffler and tip you want and then bring it to the shop. I have the 14" si/do and love it, it is not overly loud by any means, but sounds like you might want something a tad quieter. Either way maggies are great for performance, growl deep on accleration and rumble quietly at cruise.

MBRP single side out FTW. Autoanything.com
Great mild tone at cruise, throaty at WOT and real quiet at idle

The banks kit with the scoop looks like a good design. I would go that route if I didn't have the K&N.

I went with Roush on both Air Raid makes the Roush intake and I have the Roush off road exhaust but since you are looking for quite they have a legal version but the exhaust sounds outstanding

dad and sister both have flowmaster delta 50's, got them for $120 installed, WOT you can hear a little more exhaust, but its still pretty quiet

i have a flowmaster super 44, my mom can't stand riding in the back seat for long trips, but i have it dumped about 5 " after the cab so who ever sits back there is right above it.

talk to fx4 for life 79, hes running dual borla's has a nice sound but its still pretty quiet.

for intake im running a K&N 63 series intake, i really dont know why i chose it but im really happy with it. above 2300 rpm when the engines under load you can hear the intake, which i like alot, but its not an annoying sound at all.
