Busy busy!

Last few days I got my headers in, got rid of cats, wired in my O2 eliminators, put the fender vents in, got the pro-comp lights installed behind the grille, painted front and rear ford badges...I had all these parts for months now, never had a chance to install. I am a happy camper!

Those are functional and not just stick on fender vents, aren't they?

no they are not stick on... I know you cant see that they go inside the fender because I painted behind the vents and the inside grille is black mesh too.

Yeah not the easiest thing to do for sure, but it was not that bad. On day one I jacked up the front got the inner wells out, soaked the studs in some penetrant let it sit while I unbolted the cats and the Y pipe. By the time I got all that done I tried to unbolt the manifold on the drivers side and the studs started coming out nice. In one day I got all that unbolted and the drivers side header in and bolted tight, I bent one ratchet wrench so I could tighten everything from the wheel well. Next day, dropped the starter, undid the motor mount jacked up the motor and got the passenger side out. Passenger side is way tighter, so whenever I got stuck I would take a break instead of getting pissed off (gotta short fuse). After a while it went in and got it bolted in. Put the engine down and starter back in and bolted on the rest of the exhaust. Next day wired in my front O2 sensors and wired in the eliminators for the back sensors. Took good 3 days by myself. I would not hesitate to do it again if I got a new truck, to me, sooooo worth it!
I think I had most trouble with the oil dipstick to be honest...it just did not want to come out!!!!

That's awesome, good job! I was afraid they were just for looks, but being that they're functional, good on you!

Whereabouts in Alberta are you?

I got these
http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-O2-Oxy...d=p3286.c0.m14

Not sure how long they will last, but they are working fine...I threw 2 codes when I started the truck without them... Heater circuit malfunction sensor 2 both sides, after I put them in, no codes or CEL!
