not ready's are usually caused by battery being un hooked. the most common way to get rid of them? just drive the truck around. any half decent inspection station (im assuming you were trying to get a new sticker) will give you a pre-lim if there not busy and let you know if the not readys are gone.

my guess would be fuel also. sometimes when i floor it on a low tank, it sputters both because of the high fuel demand and the angle, and the fuel rushing towards the back of the tank.

if you were giving it alot of gas on a steep incline, i could see how that could be a problem
