will i fail inspection/emissions for california?

so i have to get an inspection and emissions test done to send back to north carolina so i can renew my registration. I'm in california this is what i have

2004 f150 fx4 supercab 5.4
3.5" AF1 cold air intake
troyer custom tunes, running 87 performance
magnaflow sido
6" rcd lift
35" nitto mud graps
flexalite efans

those are the only things that i can think of that could effect emissions

also does anyone know what NC wants for an inspection? looked on the web and it isnt very specific, didnt want to wait another hour on the phone to ask

thanks for any help

Is your CEL on?

If it isn't, then you are fine.

And don't say you put black tape or pulled the bulb on the CEL either...

i do nc inspections and as long as the all the emissions control devices are there you are good. just make sure the cel works in the koeo postion, and does not burn with the engine running.

^^^ what they said.

emissions is just plugging into your OBD port and trying to find fault codes

I suggest you get a ScanGauge II. It has a program on it that will read codes, tell you what they are, clear them, and will even tell you if you will pass state inspection, amongg other awesome things: ~$150

clearing them probly wont do much. when you do the OBD test it comes up w/ everything it test for and comes up ready, not ready or n/a. in texas if you have 2 not ready's or more you fail. for some reason lately its passed a few people for having 2 not ready's which it should not but we can't do anything about it. usually not readys just mean you recently unplugged your battery and just means driving. but if you have a code and do that after driving it will pop w/ it back up. and most inspection places wont tell you this but for an OBD vehicle they can do a pre-lim and see if you will pass before they test you. we usually only use this so people dont waste there free re-inspect.

Your intake and custom tuning are not CA legal. If need be, just put on the stock intake and tune when you take it in for inspection.
