Was it the Roush package that made you key my truck?

That scratch is deep and jagged, looks almost like they dragged a Phillips head screwdriver along the door. I know EXACTLY how you feel. About 2 1/2 years ago someone keyed my passenger door. It started on the front and ran onto the rear door, went right through to the metal. It happened while I was at the dentist no less.

All you can do is get it fixed and move on, we have to accept the fact there are jerkoffs out there that take pleasure is damaging the things we work hard for.

The up close picture makes me want to throw up.. There is no excuse for that kind of crap. What goes around comes around though, they will get what they deserve at some point.

I just don't understand that crap...especially such a malicious deep gouge. that isn't a little mean spirited fun. that looks deliberately aimed at you

you broken up with a chick recently? a Bremalow or Silverwhale?

best of luck with the paint repairs. My Expy is currently being resprayed and they are having to do a bunch of work. I think your $500 deductible will be chump change against the actual repair costs

Thanks for all the sympathy and encouragement.

It's almost 11pm here and the thought of it is still spinning me up pretty good. I'll forget about it for a min, then it'll pop back in my head.

Looking at it, it does look like someone meant business, BUT the weird thing about that is I am out of state Military so I don't have any real history with people here (no enemies from grade school, etc). I'm married so no crazy girlfriend to worry about. I don't drive it during the week just weekends ( I have a commuter beater for the week).

I do have a feeling it sticks out so people recognize it. It's not a very big city so maybe someone was just sick of seeing it drive around.

Anyways, it's something I have always feared, and I have seen plenty of threads like these for other people and I hoped I would never experience it, but alas, here I am. Now I am just going to try and take some control measures. First was the reduction of the Comprehensive coverage deductible, next is going to be an alarm. I wonder if they have them with sensitivity strong enough to pickup someone touching the truck.

ARgh

I've got a Audiovox alarm on my Durango. When I first bought it, you could set the damn thing off by stepping onto the bumper, or by popping the door handle.
it was my first run-in with an inclinometer, and a shock sensor
I had to dial back the sensitivity so it wouldn't go off constantly.

I suggest you hit up Travis at KC Autosounds. He specializes in these trucks and can probably hook you up.
